Juan Diego Zapata Joins Viva Air As Director Of Sales & Distribution

Colombian low-cost air carrier Viva Air has appointed Juan Diego Zapata as the new Director of Sales and Distribution. Zapata has a background as a journalist with a master’s in marketing management, with studies in management development, new trends and marketing. He has 20 years of experience in the airline industry and the tourism sector having previously worked for airlines such as Aeromexico, Latam and Avianca.

In his new role as director of sales and distribution for Viva, his job will be to work closely with travel agencies and other travel and tourism industry actors to consolidate Viva’s position in both the tourist and corporate segments, as the smartest option to fly.
