Mineros SA Reports 68% Growth in Revenues, Sets Course For Toronto Listing
South American mining company Mineros S.A. reported a 68% growth in revenues for 2019 from $805 billion COP ($206 million USD) in 2018 to $1.35 billion COP ($345.5 million USD). EBIDTA grew 56% compared to 2018 from $264.1 billion COP ($67,591,673 USD) to $411,079 ($105,206,328 USD). The company also reported $5.5 million USD invested in social and community projects in the areas where it operates mines.
“We are pleased to see that the results have accompanied us in this growth process, which allows us to continue generating value for our shareholders. We will continue working to carry out our projects, one of them is the listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange,” explained Andrés Restrepo I., President of Mineros (pictured above).
At the annual meeting of shareholders, held last Friday, shareholders agreed to several amendments and governance changes, with an eye towards an international listing. The miner currently trades on Colombia’s Bolsa de Valores de Colombia (BVC), and operates mines in Colombia, Argentina, Chile & Nicaragua.
