Banco de Bogotá named “Best Bank in Colombia” by Global Finance Magazine Panel

Banco de Bogotá, member of financial conglomerate Grupo Aval, was named as the “Best Bank in Colombia” for 2019 according to financial magazine Global Finance. The selection was made by the editors of Global Finance, after consultations with financial executives, banking consultants and analysts. In addition, a survey was conducted to the corporate readers of the magazine, aiming to increase the accuracy and reliability of the results.
“The winners are those banks that carefully attended to the needs of their clients in difficult markets and achieved better results, while laying the foundations for future success,” said the financial magazine.
Likewise, objective and subjective criteria were taken into account. Objective criteria include: growth in assets, profitability, geographical reach, strategic relationships, development of new business and innovation in products. The subjective criteria include the opinions of capital analysts, credit rating agencies, bank consultants and others involved in the industry.
