Asurion Opens 1500 Seat Tech Support Center In Bogotá
Global tech care company Asurion recently announced it is opening a new technical support and customer service center in Bogota to offer round-the-clock tech support for phones and smart home devices.
Asurion is expected to create more than 1,500 local full-time jobs within 2021 for candidates with a high proficiency in Spanish and English in positions as technical support customer care and sales representatives, with additional human resources, operations, training, and support positions within 2021.
The hiring, which began in April, is part of a global push to accommodate Asurion’s continued growth in the tech services industry. Employees will work on-site in the second half of 2021, with safety and social distancing guidelines and protocols in place in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization, the Colombian Ministry of Health, the District Health Office and the Colombian Government.

Asurion’s new home in Bogota will be in the C26 office building located on Calle 26# 85b-09 between Avenida Ciudad de Cali and Avenida Boyaca in the Salitre area of the city, near the El Dorado International Airport. The location also provides additional office space to accommodate future growth.
“This customer care center will be the largest of our customer care centers across the globe,” said Chavez.
