Arajet Adds New Flight from Medellín to Santiago, Dominican Republic
Dominican low-cost airline Arajet has launched a new route from Medellín to Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic, connecting the second largest cities in two of the company’s primary markets.
The route will be available starting July 17 with two flights per week between the two cities, departing Medellín on Mondays at 6:20 pm and Thursdays at 10:05 am. The flight has a duration of roughly 3 hours and 40 minutes.
One-way tickets will cost $116 USD, according to Arajet, and the announcement marks yet another expansion for the carrier in Colombia, where it already offers flights to Santo Domingo from Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena, and Barranquilla.
In promoting the new route, Arajet said it “invites all the paisas to try the best tobacco in the world, see the most beautiful paso fino horses, and enjoy the best gastronomy on your next trip to Santiago.”
