Medellín To Host 49th General Assembly of the OAS
For the second time in history, Medellín has been chosen to host the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS). The decision was made by resolution after Colombia offered motions to organize and host the meeting to be held between June 26 and 28, 2019.
“For us, it will be a great honor to welcome the delegations of the 35 member countries and other special guests to this summit in June 2009. With the warmth of our people, our city infrastructure and the support of the institutions we will carry out one of the best meetings in the history of the Organization of American States, “said the mayor of Medellin, Federico Gutiérrez Zuluaga.
