Colombia Sets Minimum Wage For 2021

The administration of Colombian President Ivan Duque issued Decree 1785 of December 29, 2020 establishing Colombia’s legal minimum wage for 2021 at $908,526 Colombian Pesos (COP) per month ($262.70 USD) as of January 1, 2021, 3.5% higher than in 2020.

The transportation subsidy, payable by employers to workers earning less than twice the monthly minimum wage increases to $106,454 COP ($30.78 USD)

Colombia’s “integrated salary” below which additional labor and compensation measures apply will be $ 11,810,838 COP per month ($3,415 USD per month, or $40,980.96 per year)
