Barranquilla Colombia’s Tecnoglass & C.I. Energia Solar Certified by Dow For Outstanding Quality : 1st Certified In Latin America

Dow Has Certified Barranquilla, Colombia based Tecnoglass (NASDAQ: TGLS) and affiliated company C.I. Energia Solar as obtaining the highest level of quality in application of Dow’s Silicone products in insulated glass and architectural glass applications.

Tecnoglass was certified for insulating glazing application, and C.I. Energia Solar was certified for structural glazing application, both with Dowsil sealants. Tecnoglass and C.I. Energia Solar are the first Latin American companies to receive Dow Quality Bond certificates.

Quality Bond brings together product developers, engineers, architects, and manufacturers who receive training and annual audits in materials management, quality control, and competency with Dow’s adhesives and structural sealants. Members of this program, according to Dow, guarantee the highest quality products and application techniques.
