Bancolombia Launches Online Platform to Search for Real Estate

Bancolombia (NYSE: CIB), the largest bank in Colombia, has launched a new area of its website to help users search for real estate projects and housing. The Medellín-based financial institution says that this “Proyectos Inmobiliarios” platform will begin with around 200 real estate projects in its database and soon expand to include more.

On the platform, which is accessible at Grupobancolombia.com/ProyectosInmobiliarios, Colombians looking to find a property will be able to guide their search by city, type of housing, and price. They can also request credit information, simulate financing options, and find special rates to purchase housing.

Sebastián Mora, director of products and commercial strategy for people at Bancolombia, said that the platform will offer users access to discounted rates in many cases, including projects that are rated for their sustainability. He said that Bancolombia hopes that this online tool will help more Colombians “realize their dream of having housing.”
