Avianca to Begin Operating Additional Flight Between Bogotá and Armenia on February 4
Starting on February 4, Avianca will add an additional flight between Bogotá and Armenia, a mid-sized city in the central Andes that is one of the primary hubs within Colombia’s famed coffee region.
With the addition, the Bogotá-based carrier will now offer four daily flights between the two cities. The short flight will leave the Colombian capital’s El Dorado International Airport at 1:59 pm each day and the return leg will depart El Edén International Airport in Armenia at 4:03 pm.
It will have 250 seats and be operated by aircraft within the Airbus A320 family, including the A318, A319, and A320.

The flight is being added as a part of the agreement reached last year by Avianca to end an extended pilot strike with the union ACDAC.
Thousands of flights were canceled after some 700 pilots went on strike for more than a month, and the Armenia route was one of the most affected.
