Arajet to Offer Add-On Ground Transportation to Punta Cana with Flights to Santo Domingo
Dominican low-cost airline Arajet announced today that it is now offering add-on bus connectivity to Punta Cana and Bávaro in combination with flight purchases for travelers flying to the Caribbean nation’s capital from Cartagena and Medellín.
The carrier said that it is offering this service as a convenience for the many tourists who touch down in Santo Domingo only to continue on to the beach and resort hotspots. With the option to add on the ground transport, which will be operated by Autobuses Metro, while booking the flight, travelers from these Colombian cities will be “taken to their final destination without having to purchase this service separately,” said Arajet in a statement.
Passengers from other cities — including Mexico City, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Chile, Toronto, and Montreal — will also be able to purchase ground transport along with their flight.
“Punta Cana is the most important tourist destination in the Caribbean, and many of our travelers who arrive through Santo Domingo have Punta Cana or Bávaro as their final destination,” added the airline. “With this new service that we will be offering together with Autobuses Metro, we offer users the convenience of being able to reach their final destination buying everything under the umbrella of Arajet.”
