Alternative Agricultural Investments To Be Showcased At Agri Investment LATAM 2015
Roughly 20 alternative agricultural and sustainable forestry investments will be presented to national and international investors this Thursday during the Agri Investment Latam symposium at the Hilton Bogotá (from 8am to 8pm), sponsored by Agrofuturo and ColCapital.
Colombian agriculture presents a great investment potential due to the general increase in food prices, the quest by investors for diversification and portfolio optimization, and the desire to have more than simply a financial impact.
At this third version of the event, projects in sustainable agriculture, renewable bio-fuels, and forestry technology will be presented, along with natural latex/rubber, poultry, livestock, agricultural supplies and products, representing $400 million (USD) in opportunities for private equity and investment funds. Presenters will be ready with their “elevator pitches” during the business roundtable where up to $150 million in deals may be launched.
