Wingo Rolls Out Upgraded In-Flight Menu Options Available For Pre-Purchase When Booking Flight
Today, Colombian low-cost airline Wingo rolled out its revamped onboard menu of new sandwiches, combination meals, children’s selections, beverages, sweet and savory snacks. The Wingo Market, available strictly for pre-order at time of ticket purchase, will offer its Master-Menu, which includes a pork milanesa (schnitzel) sandwich, spinach, caramelized apples and a Colombian spiced blend of mustard and mayonnaise called Hardy’s Sauce.
“We love to please our passengers, to make their flights comfortable and fun, therefore, we will offer a renewed onboard menu with options for everyone, from economy alternatives that only cost $1,000 COP (less than $1 USD), to the Master-Menu, a gourmet alternative to enjoy at altitude,” said Ana María Restrepo Santamaría, Manager of Ancillaries de Wingo.

This launch of the new Wingo menu is on sale from July 1 features snacks such as parfait of red & yellow fruits, arequipe (dulce de leche) pastry, chicken pastry, and sausage croissant. Hot menu options must be pre-ordered during the ticket purchase process, and feature selections such as a breakfast ham & cheese omelet, bread and fruit, as well as hamburgers, hot dogs and arepas with chicken.
In a statement, Wingo emphasizes that in order to purchase the Wingo Market menu items, they must be pre-ordered at the time of ticket purchase, and at least 48 hours before the start of the itinerary.
Though based in Colombia, Wingo is a subsidiary of Panamá-based Copa Airlines.
