US Prosecutors Visit Colombian Counterparts To Fight Organized Crime

Colombia’s attorney general, Fabio Espitia Garzón, received a delegation of prosecutors from The United Sates led by Zachary Terwilliger, Prosecutor for the Eastern District of Virginia. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen cooperation in the fight against organized crime, especially focused on activities conducted by insurgent group ELN.
The meeting was also attended by federal prosecutor Joseph Brown from the Eastern District of Texas, Kevin Driscoll from the Attorney General’s office, Arthur Wyatt, the chief of the Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Section of the US Department of Justice, FBI judicial attaché Marlon Cobar, and DEA judicial attaché Brian Skaret.
