TechnoMultimedia InfoComm Electronic Expo Held This Week In Bogotá
This week, Corferias, Bogotá’s flagship convention facility, is host to TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia; Colombia’s combined electronics and multimedia trade show. The event combines academic courses from InfoComm International along with the CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design & Instillation Association) conference. TecnoMultimedia InfoComm is the third of the InfoComm international consumer electronics and audiovisual events in Latin America, along with InfoComm Brasil, and Infocomm Mexico.
Through Wednesday, the academic portion of the convention takes place at the Wyndham Hotel, with free shuttle transportation between the Corferias Convention Center and the Wyndham (along with the adjoining Tryp Hotel). Through Thursday, the exposition hall will be open in Pavillion 3 of Corferias, from 11am through 7pm.
Japanese consumer electronics manufacturer Epson, a division of the Seiko Group, will be displaying its entire line of video products in an interactive space, geared towards corporate, academic and consumer markets. The 72 square meter exhibit will show off 20 video projectors, mapping technology, and integrated solutions with their scanners, Ecotank printers, and large format plotters.
“InfoComm is one of the most important audiovisual expos in the continent, which shows the USA, México, Brasil, and Colombia the latest technological innovations. For us, as category leaders, it is a unique space to show the diverse public present how we can bring reality to their imagination. For that we are counting on having the largest exhibit space in the exposition, and we have created a showcase you can’t miss,” says Jose Luis Rodríguez, Epson Colombia’s projectors product manager.
