The winter route will fly weekly from Toronto to Cartagena between December 18 and April 9.

Royal Dutch Airlines will fly its Boeing 787-9 aircraft to Cartagena's Rafael Núñez International Airport three times each week.

The only two airports in the region ahead of El Dorado are Mexico City International Airport and São Paulo–Congonhas Airport.
