Medellín Hosts Successful CleanTec And TecnoEdificios Events

Nearly 300 people, including attendees of academic sessions and trade show visitors, gathered last November 22 and 23 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Medellín for the second edition of CleanTec Show Americas and the 12th edition of TecnoEdificios, where they took advantage of specialized education for the professional cleaning and facility management industries, as well as diverse products and services at the expo.

More than 20 brands with products and solutions for both of these industries were present at the expo, which also included the Experience Forum, a free space for technical-commercial conferences and live demonstrations, where attendees were able to learn first-hand about innovations by the exhibitors, sponsors and partners such as Hipal, Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA), Fenaseo, Hipcam, Marwind, Indpower and Interaseo / Tecnovap.

Both academic congresses offered an agenda of conferences with national speakers, as well as guests from Spain, Mexico and El Salvador. This academic encounter ended with the 2022 LATAM CleanTec Show Americas Award to the most innovative product, of which Klaxen was the winner with its Klaxinn Tabs product line. The company Diversey was also nominated with its UV disinfection product, Moonbeam 3.

The next destination of the 2023 show will be Panama, on September 13 and 14 at the Riu Plaza Hotel in Panama City.

The LATAM TecnoEdificios Award 2022 for Business Trajectory and Competitiveness was also awarded to Fondo Inmobiliario PACTIA, for its energy efficiency project that enhances environmental sustainability.

Andrea Ochoa, academic coordinator, emphasized that “this was a Congress designed to strengthen companies’ sustainability, leadership and competitiveness in order to improve decision-making, project investment and productivity. For 2023, we plan to be much stronger, improving the academic program hand in hand with industry experts” and she extended the invitation to speakers and attendees to “be part of these important events next year.”

Carolina Gallego, Country Manager of CleanTec and TecnoEdificios, commented that this “has been a year of successes, allowing us to move forward, improve and grow as a benchmark event in the Cleaning and Facility Management sectors,” while Sandra Camacho, Project Manager of CleanTec and TecnoEdificios expressed her satisfaction for “making the three dimensions of sustainability economic, social and environmental sustainability, move forward in harmony,” and pointed out that “it is a question of investing in the future in training and technological innovation as essential factors in the change towards sustainable development. We look forward to Panama 2023, with new activities and listening to the contributions of our clients and visitors in order to achieve a Congress and trade show as successful as this year’s.”

CleanTec Show and TecnoEdificios will be held again in 2023 in Panama City, Panama, on September 13 and 14, at the Hotel Riu Plaza in the Panamanian capital.
