LATAM Launched a New Daily Flight from Medellín to Miami
On October 29, LATAM Airlines inaugurated its daily non-stop service between Medellín and Miami, adding another connection between Colombia and the United States.
The three-and-a-half-hour flight, which is operated by an Airbus A320 that can hold 174 passengers, departs Colombia’s second largest city each day at 12:30 pm local time from José María Córdova International Airport in Rionegro. The return flight from Miami International Airport departs at 5:30 pm local time.
The route is being launched within the larger joint initiative kicked off in 2022 between LATAM and Delta that seeks to add more connectivity between North and South America.
“This route not only connects Colombia’s second most important city with the main gateway to the United States, but also allows more visitors to access one of the best tourist destinations in the country that, in addition to its incredible landscapes, combines urban culture with a movement of social transformation that makes Medellín a one-of-a-kind destination,” said Santiago Álvarez, executive director of LATAM Airlines Colombia.
