Hilton’s First DoubleTree Hotel In Colombia Opens By Bogotá’s Parque 93 In Chicó
Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) on Monday celebrated the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá – Parque 93, its first hotel in Colombia. Located in Bogotás Chico neighborhood, the 132-room full-service hotel is in one of Bogotá’s upscale areas featuring businesses, restaurants, shops and nightlife destinations. Previously a Cosmos Insignia Hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá – Parque 93 opens following a multi-million dollar renovation, which includes updates to the hotel’s public areas and guest rooms. DoubleTree by Hilton Bogotá – Parque 93 is owned by COSIN SAS and managed by Hoteles Cosmos.

The new DoubleTree Parque 93 features modern design with marble finishes throughout the property. The hotel’s guest rooms offer high ceilings, soundproof windows, upscale accommodations and amenities, as well as views of Bogotás Sierra Oriental, mountains bordering the east side of the city. Additionally, the hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel’s public areas and guest rooms, a 24-hour business center, fitness center featuring Precor equipment open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., a heated indoor pool, steam room and treatment room where guests can book individual massages.

The hotel has 252 square meters of meeting space, including seven meeting rooms and a ballroom, and offers options for a variety of meetings or social events. For smaller groups, the hotel offers the Meetings Simplified by DoubleTree by Hilton package, which includes the meeting room, basic meeting Wi-Fi, meeting room supplies including a flipchart, markers, extension and power cord, and all day non-alcoholic beverage service. Catering services and a dedicated event staff are available for events.

The intimate Agata Restaurant, is open daily for all-day dining, featuring innovative international cuisine with daily specials, prix fixe lunch menus and live music. Big Bang Bar offers happy hours and live music on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Located on the ninth floor, the Sky VIP Lounge offers mountain views for guests with lounge access, and morning breakfast as well as afternoon happy hours. DoubleTree by Hilton’s Wake Up DoubleTree Breakfast is also available for guests, who may also order room service 24-hours a day.
Within walking distance of the hotel, guests may encounter a number of shopping, dining and entertainment areas including the Parque 93 and Usaquen neighborhoods, Calle 100 business district, the Andino shopping mall, Zona T nightlife district and the Zona G dining district.
