Colombia’s Center for Research and Development of Information and Communications Technology (CINTEL) is hosting a conference exploring digital transformation in Bogotá on March 23-24. Its Foro 3C Transformation event will center on showing companies of all stripes, and particularly those in the information technology and communications (ICT) world, the importance of not just getting started on their transformation — but getting it right.

Located at the Hotel Wyndham Bogotá Art (Av. La Esperanza No. 51-40), one of the sessions at the CINTEL conference will focus on the need for the ICT industry to advance its efforts to offer more products and services to help facilitate transformations.

Another discussion, with the ominous title “Transform or Die,” will stress the urgency to get busy today rather than waiting and watching the competition better adapt to the business landscape of tomorrow.

“Elements such as new business models, the digital economy, regulation, and policies will be analyzed during this 3C,” said CINTEL in a statement. The organization says that other speakers will look “to identify opportunities, barriers, and possible actions that can be incentivized by the inclusion of ICTs that support the business transformation process.”
