Finance Colombia Launches Andes Digital Transformation Summit, June 12-13 In Bogotá
Finance Colombia, in conjunction with Unido Digital S.A.S. as organizer, is launching the first summit focused on CEOs, CIOs, and other executives with responsibility for IT and strategy decisions. Taking place June 12-13 at the Habitel Hotel & Convention Center in Bogotá near the El Dorado International Airport, this is the first event with an executive focus, covering IT strategy, best practices and case studies, rather than “bits and bolts” of some broader conferences.
The summit features 5 educational tracks for attendees; Cloud & Digital DNA, Intelligent Automation: RPA, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning; Shared Services, BPO &Customer Experience, and Analytics & Data Science.
Featured keynote speakers lined up include José Otero and Frank Casale traveling to the event from the USA. José Otero is the Vice President for Latin America & The Caribbean for 5G Americas, the industry alliance promoting and coordinating between governments and the private sector, the evolution of the telecom infrastructure from 4G and legacy technologies to 5G, which promises to completely change the way consumers and enterprises communicate. It sounds like hype, but “this time it’s real.” José Otero will explain why, as well as how to prepare and profit from the coming evolutionary quantum leap.
In this new world of ‘disrupt or be disrupted,’ knowledge plus the tools to execute are key. That’s what we aim to provide our attendees, with the help of our speakers, experts and sponsors,” said Moss.
Frank Casale is the founder of both the Outsourcing Institute, the oldest and largest international BPO industry networking group, and more recently launching and leading the Institute for Robotics Process Automation & Artificial Intelligence, a global organization which recently opened a chapter in Medellín’s Ruta-N, along with Casale’s Digital Americas Pipeline Initiative.
The summit is chaired by Esteban Carril, Principal for Latin America of Chazey Partners and published expert in Shared Services, with many complex engagements in his “win” column. As Andes region enterprises mature and grow from “Multilatinas” into true multinationals, the deployment of Shared Services operations or global delivery centers of excellence become more relevant, even necessary for continued growth and economies of scale and specialization. Carril is slated to deliver the opening keynote and one or more workshops to drill down on shared services strategy.
Colombia’s own Ana Karina Quessep, executive director of Colombia’s outsourcing trade association BPro, formerly ACDECC has agreed to share her vast knowledge and insight on trends affecting the BPO and Customer Experience sectors in the Andes region, and Latin America more broadly.
Negotiations are finalizing for several other thought leaders and industry leaders—names you know, so please check the summit website, www.transformaciondigitalandes.events or better yet, subscribe to the event updates mailing list by clicking here.
“We are really excited about this event,” said Finance Colombia founder and Unido Digital CEO Loren Moss. “Colombia has no shortage of events, but there has been nothing specifically covering high level executive strategy at the decision level. This event is for those executives looking for the knowledge and decision support to take decisive action regarding migration to cloud infrastructure, IT security and consumer data protection, how Intelligent Automation, RPA and Machine Learning is going to affect their businesses…we are in the midst of what Intel’s Andy Grove would have called an Inflection Point. This is when everything changes. 5 years from now, nothing is going to look the same! Some of the giants will have fallen and companies we may not even have heard of yet will dominate.”
“How does the executive, manager or professional gain the knowledge and insight to protect their enterprise, workforce, and shareholders from this digital disruption, but not only to protect themselves but to actually profit from these tectonic shifts? In this new world of ‘disrupt or be disrupted,’ knowledge plus the tools to execute are key. That’s what we aim to provide our attendees, with the help of our speakers, experts and sponsors,” said Moss.
