Panamá based Copa Airlines announced today that all passengers must wear surgical masks during flights, check-in, boarding, and disembarkation on flights to and from Venezuela. The policy is to combat the spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
This policy is in order to comply with orders from Venezuela’s National Institute of Civil Aviation (INAC for Instituto Nacional de Aeronáutica Civil, in Spanish). The order is effective immediately, and passengers must bring their own masks in order to fly, says the airline.
