Bogotá & San José To Host TecnoEdificios, Refriamericas & CleanTec In-Person Conventions In November

Latin Press Inc., organizing company of TecnoEdificios, Expo and Congress for the Latin American Facility Management industry, and its official media partner, Finance Colombia announce the return of the event in its 11th edition, which will take place in two countries: on November 3 and 4 of this year, at the Hilton Corferias Hotel in Bogota, Colombia; and in San Jose, Costa Rica, on November 10 and 11, at the Costa Rica Convention Center.

As in all events organized by Latin Press, during TecnoEdificios, the Academic Congress will take place with an agenda of 15 conferences presented by renowned facility managers, as well as experts in different areas of this industry, with a general theme that encompasses “The new dynamics of Facility Management: facing the challenge of optimizing the operation of buildings.”

This academic meeting has the support and backing of the Panamanian Association of Facility Management (Asociación Panameña de Facility Management, APAFAM), with more than 100 members and more than 50 associated companies.

Ana Mejía, Academic Coordinator of TecnoEdificios says that “for the return of TecnoEdificios in 2021, we will have a wide agenda of experts covering different areas of knowledge, both from the managerial perspective, to the most practical aspects of the operation and maintenance of properties, including energy efficiency and security.”

In addition, at the end of the academic day in Bogota, the Facility Manager of the Year 2021 award will take place, an activity in which Facility Managers from all over Latin America apply for a chance to receive a recognized award that has already been granted in three previous versions of TecnoEdificios, and represents a special recognition of the work of these professionals in property management and administration.

The Facility Manager of the Year 2021 will be awarded in Bogota, postulations are open.

“We consider that the decision to carry out TecnoEdificios 2021 has been very successful, in order to meet and network after so long without face-to-face events,” says Sandra Camacho, Project Manager of TecnoEdificios. “We are sure that in this eleventh version of TecnoEdificios, which seeks to guide attendees in how to manage the operation of buildings and their associated services efficiently, it will be very productive for all attendees, as well as introducing them to new disinfection and maintenance technologies, allowing them to discover tools to face the challenges that this sector has today,” she adds.

The Expo will begin in Colombia from Wednesday, November 3, starting at 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., until Thursday, November 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while the Academic Congress will be held the same days, starting at 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

In turn, the hours of the Expo in Costa Rica will be from Wednesday, November 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., until Thursday, November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while the Academic Congress will be held on November 10, starting at 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

In parallel with TecnoEdificios, Refriamericas, the Congress and Expo for the HVAC/R industry and SolarTec Americas, the Summit and Expo for the integration of solar energy systems, will take place in Costa Rica, while CleanTec Show, Congress and Expo for the Cleaning and Professional Maintenance industry will also take place in Bogota, Colombia.
