Aerocivil Announces Reopening of Cali Colombia’s International Airport
Colombia’s civil aviation authority has issued a statement that as of 9:40am today, the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport in Palmira, Colombia and serving the city of Cali and surrounding areas has reopened to traffic and operations. The airport was closed yesterday evening due to blockages and civil unrest nearby that prevented the safe arrival and departure of passengers and airport employees.
According to Aeronáutica Civil, or Aerocivil as it is called, the airport currently has all services operational to guarantee the air connectivity of passengers and supplies. The agency encourages all passengers to contact their air carriers directly to confirm flight measures or to make necessary arrangements.
Please contact your air carrier directly. Finance Colombia does not provide airline or passenger service.
