Bancolombia First To Offer Visa Checkout

From July 6, Bancolombia’s customers are now able to use the Visa Checkout online service with any of their Bancolombia charge cards, not just Visa. Visa Checkout is employed by over 100,000 online merchants globally so far, and this further enables Bancolombia customers to make purchases in the USA, Canada, Australia, as well as in Colombia and other countries.

“Our customers will no longer have to enter their credit card information and shipping address for every purchase they make,” said Liliana Vasquez, the vice president of Bancolombia Payment Systems. “Simply register on the Visa Checkout platform and inter the information once. After that, they will be able to pay with just a few clicks.”

Retailers like Neiman Marcus, Pizza Hut and United Airlines are already using Visa Checkout, and the payment platform works on mobile phones and tablets as well as PCs. “Being pioneers in bringing this system to the country is part of our commitment to our customers to make their lives easier,” said Vazquez.
