TecnoMultimedia Colombia Returns This Week To Corferias In Bogotá With Broadcast, AV, Datacom Agendas

This October 20 and 21, the 13th edition of TecnoMultimedia Colombia and its parallel events, TecnoTelevisión & Radio, and Expo DataNet Andino are taking place in Pavilion 4 of Bogotá’s Corferias convention center, with about 50 exhibiting brands from the AV, broadcast and data communications industries. In addition, there is a full agenda with specialized conferences in these areas. This event marks a return to Colombia after a two-year pause, following two successful versions in Brazil in May, and Mexico in August of this year.

The agenda of the specialized technical and commercial conferences will cover a variety of topics, ranging from experiences in video rooms, solutions for hybrid work, lighting and LED screens in television studios, augmented reality and LED screens in television studios, and case studies such as the installation at the Bogota Planetarium. In addition, KNX, the Supporting Show Sponsor of TecnoMultimedia, will offer a lecture on building automation, with a 30-minute mini-talk on the different application scenarios of this communication protocol, at booth 429.

On October 20, at 6:00 pm, the award ceremony will present the best audiovisual work of the Concurso Universitario TecnoTelevisión 2022 contest, which enjoyed strong participation with entries from different Colombian universities. A jury of experts in the area of television production selected from five nominated works for the best audiovisual production area. The winning team will receive a production kit that includes a Sony camera, tripod and professional lamp, sponsored by the brands Vidiexco, E-Image, Pinnacle Group and Litepanels.

On Thursday at 1:00 p.m., the Show Director of TecnoMultimedia, Max Jaramillo, will open the event by making a very special announcement regarding the evolution of the three events that represent increasingly converging industries, with the purpose of further strengthening the bond between them.
