TaskUs opened its first Colombian operations during the height of the COVID Pandemic, but has now cut the opening ribbon on its Cali physical location.

The main cities that adopted teleworking were Bogotá with 157,417 teleworkers; followed by Medellín with 26,569; Barranquilla with 9,213; Cali with 5,421, and Bucaramanga with 3,467 people.

Transcom’s operations in Colombia will function as a hybrid telework and on-premises contact center, with agents hired initially from the metropolitan Bogotá area. Offices are located in the Calle 100 business district on Bogotá’s north side.
