Aside from his role as head of international investment for the BVC Colombian stock exchange and providing a column on economics for Finance Colombia, Rupert Stebbings has served on the board of directors for Viva, and wrote the corporate biography, "The Viva Effect."
Passengers enjoyed a sampling of the musical performance along with other surprises during a flight from Medellín to the Caribbean coastal city of Santa Marta.
The three organizations also sponsored a breast cancer awareness flight from Medellín to Cartagena full of surprises from Viva, ProFamilia and D’Lunaas to deliver the messages of prevention and awareness and self-examination.
The group of students had been working on raising 70 million Colombian pesos, or approximately $19,000 USD to make the trip, when Viva Foundation executives heard about the effort in local media reports.

Viva Air’s nonprofit affiliate has begun delivering thousands of books to rural and indigenous children. The initiative follows up on Viva’s delivery of 3,502 school supply kits to youth on the impoverished La Guajira peninsula.
