Bayport is an important player in Colombia's "Libranzas" or payroll lending space.

The financing has been divided into two disbursements by Blue Earth Capital, an Swiss-based investment fund that focuses sustainable and impact-oriented financing.

The Bayport Management subsidiary says the financing will help improve Colombians' "quality of life in terms of access to better health, education, housing, and micro-enterprises."

Libranzas are loans offered through employers and paid off through payroll deductions.

Bayport says it has made credit placements for a value of more than $110 billion pesos, thus achieving significant portfolio growth compared to December 2021.

This is a senior credit line announced in 2020 granted by the United States International Development Finance Corporation

Bayport closed a $12.5 million USD agreement with Incofin Investment Management to fund its operations in Colombia, where the company is a lender to pensioners and public sector employees.
