GlobeNet says its new data center integrates with its ecosystem of content providers, service providers and IXs, as well as the company’s submarine network and redundant terrestrial backhauls.

The news comes on the heels of this center receiving “Level IV” certification from ICREA two months ago.

Florida-based telecom infrastructure provider Globenet opened a 200-square-meter "Tier III" data center in Barranquilla last month.

The recertification formally authorizes the level of standards and availability offered at the company’s data center in Bogotá.

The Tier III-certified data center was built by Bogotá-based ZFB Group and will be located within the capital’s ZF Towers Services and Technology Park.

NetSuite's global push is primarily focused on adding data centers, but it is also adding 13 field offices across the world.
