Avianca is set to enhance its presence in Florida by introducing four new routes to Latin America.

The new hires would bring the company's total headcount in Colombia to more than 5,300.

The new Medellín facility is in addition to two TaskUs facilities in Cali, Colombia.

The overall figure also reflects a 70% increase compared to the levels recorded in 2020, highlighint the ongoing recovery since the pandemic.

In 2023, a record 5,125 containers of avocados were exported from Colombia.

Called “Ella Exporta Africa” (She Exports Africa), the program will provide consulting, technical assistance, and other complementary services to 30 companies. 

In the first two months of this year, non-mining exports from that Saudi Arabia reached $26.6 million USD.
