Public Servants Receive Low Murtra Service Medal by Colombia’s Office of the Attorney General
According to the Fiscalia General (Federal Prosecutor’s Office) on December 12, 2014, Prosecutor, Pedro David Berdugo Salcedo; CTI investigator, Harold Mauricio Sánchez Hernández, and accountant Over José Ospino González were conferred the Enrique Low Murtra medal in recognition of their excellent work carried out on behalf of the Office of the Attorney General.
During this ceremony which is an annual recognition to public servants who have contributed to strengthen the fight against delinquency through their hard work and commitment, Attorney General Eduardo Montealegre Lynett exalted the devoted work of the murdered Ministry of Justice, Enrique Low Murtra, in his fight against drug trafficking and against large mafias. This was the main reason to designate his name to this recognition.
“These awards claim to be a real recognition to our public servants´ bravery and commitment. They symbolize the group of values inherited from Enrique Low Murtra” stated the Attorney General.
