Finance Minister Mauricio Cardenas To Outline Colombia’s Financing Strategy At Bonds, Loans & Derivatives Andes 2016
Mauricio Cardenas Santamaria (pictured above), Minister of Finance and Public Credit in Colombia will be delivering a keynote address at Bonds, Loans & Derivatives Andes conference next month, February 23 & 24. Speaking for the third consecutive year, the Finance Minister will share his views on how Colombia plans to overcome upcoming macroeconomic challenges such as rising interest rates and lower oil prices.
Cardenas will be joined by a 50-strong speaker faculty, including Diana Rua, Vice President, Corporate Finance at Empresas Publicas de Medellin (EPM), the first Latin American company in 2016 to close a syndicated loan of US $1 billion; and Vice Minister of Finance, Andrés Escobar Arango, will be discussing the impact of the Colombian tax reforms on financing opportunities in the international capital markets.
