Colombians Have Until July 6 To Apply For Scholarships & Admission To Texas MBA Programs

Colombian entrepreneurs have until July 6, to apply  to MBA programs at Texas public universities in the United States, thanks to an agreement between the Colombian Institute of Educational Credit and Technical Studies. Abroad (ICETEX) and the Texas International Education Consurtium (TIEC).

The pact offers those Colombians in the creative and entrepreneurial sectors a portfolio of partial scholarships offered by TIEC, a consortium of 31 public universities in Texas, and is part of the Belisario Betancur Scholarship program.

The master’s degrees are in Spanish and are delivered virtually with a two-week component of face-to-face immersion in Texas in 2021.

The master’s degree programs last 12 months, beginning on August 26, 2020 and ending on August 26, 2021.
The agreement between Icetex and TIEC seeks to create strategic links in educational cooperation for the promotion of Colombian and American higher education, by granting a 25% discount on tuition for Master’s degrees in Business Administration.

It is aimed at Colombians with at least bachelors degrees in administration, economics or related areas, and preferably have professional experience in the program area, have a business, or work in public or private entities on topics directly related to the program to be carried out.
