Colombia and South Korea Advance Cooperation on Justice Issues

Colombian Minister of Justice and Law Enrique Gil Botero recently met with South Korean Ambassador Kim Doo-Sik to advance the implementation of the two nations’ bilateral memorandum of understanding on justice.

The cooperation plan highlights technology-centric themes, including plans to collaborate on issues related to information systems in justice that will utilize the mobile application LegalApp and Colombia’s Unique System of Information Norms (Suin-Juriscol).

South Korea will also further the exchange of information through the Observatory of Drugs of Colombia (ODC).

“Given the leadership and achievements of the Asian country in the areas of technology and innovation in information systems, it is vital for the Ministry of Justice to exchange experiences with the Republic of Korea,” said the Ministry of Justice in a statement.
