The Tier III-certified data center was built by Bogotá-based ZFB Group and will be located within the capital’s ZF Towers Services and Technology Park.
The USAID-based Data Jam aims "to help support a culture of evidence-based decisions and public policies" that supporters believe can lead to big benefits in the real world.
"Colombia clearly has a strong grasp on the policy framework needed to enable affordable internet for its population,” says the Alliance for Affordable Internet.
