Avianca Appoints Valeria Yglesias as New Senior VP Loyalty and Managing Director of LifeMiles

Avianca has appointed Valeria Yglesias as Senior VP of Loyalty and Managing Director of LifeMiles. Avianca in a statement said that her main challenge is to continue expanding the reach of the program in the region and the benefits offered by the Avianca loyalty program, in addition to taking care of the airline’s loyal members.

Valeria Yglesias joined Avianca in 2010, in the LifeMiles division, and has served as Senior Director of Business Partners and later as Commercial Vice President, leading the company’s growth strategy throughout the region. Yglesias earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the INCAE Business School and represented the business school at the Goizueta Marketing and Strategy Competition at Emory University in Atlanta. She also completed a Digital Marketing Strategy program at Kellogg Executive Education.
