Colombia’s Fashion Week & Textiles Events Return to Medellín from July 25-27, 2023

Two fashion-focused business and cultural fairs will combine from July 25 to July 27 in Medellín, where more than 30,000 visitors will gather for Colombiamoda + Colombiatex 2023.

Known as Colombia’s fashion week and the nation’s premier textile event, respectively, the combined events will bring together more than 400 exhibitors and some 12,000 buyers at Plaza Mayor to engage in four days that will be guided by the these of Effective Connections, Inspiration for Action, and Fashion Expressions.

The Fashion Expressions track will present an expression of culture and social transformation through more than 25 catwalks that will feature designers with extensive experience, emerging entrepreneurship, fashion collaborations and more.

Inspiration for Action will offer a major, free access academic space, where more than 15,000 attendees and 28,000 spectators will gather in the Knowledge Pavilion and Trends Forum, where they will be able to hear from nearly a dozen international speakers who will present a global vision of the industry. Organizers will also digitally broadcast some 20 face-to-face conferences to the public through Colombiamoda.com.

For its part, Effective Connections will focus on the exhibition of commercial goods, including inputs, textiles and finished products, to help buyers will connect with brands. The public will also be able to participate to view and buy their favorite apparel, clothes, textiles, and more.

Inter Rapidísimo will serve as the official sponsor of Colombiamoda and Colombiatex 2023, while branded experiences will be offered by companies including Coca-Cola, Breakfast Club, Elcielo, Samsung, Nutresa, Puntos Colombia, Grupo Éxito, and Banco de Bogotá.

According to the organizers, last year’s combined event set new attendance records and brought in millions of dollars in direct spending as well as tourist-related revenue, increased hotel occupancy, and overall economic benefit.
