Bancolombia President Juan Carlos Mora to Head Asobancaria Board of Directors

Juan Carlos Mora, president of Bancolombia, has been elected to lead the board of directors of Colombia’s leading bank trade association, Asobancaria.

Mora has served as the Medellín-based bank since May 2016 after working his way up through the ranks in various roles, including those focusing on risk and technology, with Bancolombia for more than a decade.

He has earned business degrees from both Babson College near Boston in the United States and EAFIT University in Medellín.

“Without doubt, his experience will be very valuable in strengthening the association and its contribution to the country’s economic agenda,” said Asobancaria through Twitter.
