3M Colombia Names Karim Mansour as New President
3M Colombia has appointed Karim Mansour as its new president. The French executive has been with the corporation since 1998 in various positions, most recently serving as vice president of the health business for 3M France.
Naturally, the adjustment to a new country will not be seamless, but Mansour says he is particularly excited to take on this challenge during what will be formally a year of France/Colombia collaboration in 2017. “Colombia is an incredible country,” said Mansour, adding that the company’s “mission here is to continue building 3M’s success in Colombia together with a talented and passionate team.”
In nearly two decades spent with 3M, Mansour has also held the roles of regional manager of sales and marketing in France and global manager of the infection prevention business at the company’s global headquarters.
Mansour is replacing Enrique Türk, who served for five years as president of 3M Colombia and is becoming the company’s operations director for Latin American business transformation and business services. Türk joined 3M Colombia in 2005 in a role as vice president. Before that, he served for FASECOLDA and IBM Colombia.
