A two-day event focused on copper and gold exploration- and development-stage projects in Colombia. CGS Events has seven years of bringing people together and this time will be hosted in Medellin.

The CGS mining event, which focuses on precious metals mining in Colombia and the Andes, has grown in importance every year.

The Colombia Gold Symposium, organized by Paul Harris, publisher of Colombia Gold Letter, also covers other metals such as silver and copper, and gives Ecuador equal billing in the symposium content, with additional attention given to Peru and Chile.

The growth was aided by a good fourth quarter that saw production rise 26% compared to the fourth quarter of 2016.

Three rigs are now operating in this 15,000-meter exploration campaign, and two more are planned to join the effort later this year.
