Even with the COVID-19 pandemic, Viva Air transported over 100,000 passengers to and from San Andrés during the first two months of 2021, with a load factor (occupancy rate) of 94%.

In September 2020, Avianca and its subsidiaries transported a total of 164,859 air passengers including 5,342 passengers on repatriation flights, resulting in a monthly load factor of 66.7%.

Viva Air Is selling tickets for as low as $15,49 USD one-way, and has announced that it has carried over 100,000 passengers in the first month of Colombian airspace reopening. The airline remains in growth-mode despite the COVID-19 Pandemic.
