Rural employment hit a record high in March, up 120,000 (2.5%) from 2024, showing strength in the agricultural sector.

Agriculture, livestock, hunting, forestry, and fishing employed 3.4 million Colombians in February, up 4% from the previous year, with a 14.3% national share.

Coffee led Colombia's agricultural growth with a 22.5% increase, followed by other crops (8.3%) and livestock (5.6%).

This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Chambers of Commerce of Barrancabermeja, Medellín and Cartagena.
