Online and mobile channels carried 85% of Colombia's financial operations and 70% of the value transacted in early 2026.

The financing has been divided into two disbursements by Blue Earth Capital, an Swiss-based investment fund that focuses sustainable and impact-oriented financing.

This figure represents an 11% uptick in the number of new entrants to the system compared to the 999,000 people who secured financial products for the first time in 2016.

The program led to more than 30,000 new bank accounts being opened and some 2,000 people receiving education in financial services.

The campaign will focus on Antioquia, where two different vehicles will help grant micro-loans that will average around $1,700 USD.

Branded as the Route of Financial Inclusion, Banco de Bogotá's bus campaign has already visited the departments of Cauca, Caquetá, and Huila this year.
