Canadian mining company Eco Oro Minerals Corp. announced that its plan of arrangement has become effective.

The alterations are being made to an agreement originally announced on August 1.

Robertson, the current chief financial officer of Eco Oro, is filling a void left by the recent resignation of Mark Moseley-Williams.

“The agreement unites the shareholders of Eco Oro in pursuit of its arbitration claim against the Republic of Colombia,” said Eco Oro.

Eco Oro says that it "believes that the dissidents are engaged in "forum-shopping" in order to find a receptive audience for their purported grievances."
