Jeremy Winston Chorale & Orquesta Sinfónica EAFIT Set to Perform at El Tesoro Theater

From Ohio, United States, Jeremy Winston Chorale arrives at the El Tesoro Theater on Friday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. Considered one of the most important choirs in the world in the field of orchestral and choral music, it visits Medellín to present an exciting and unmissable symphonic gospel concert with the EAFIT Symphony Orchestra, with whom in the first part they will perform fragments of the famous work Porgy and Bess, and in the second, they will infect us with the strength of gospel.

This show is a co-production between the El Tesoro Theater and the Colombo Americano of Medellín.

Founded in 2012, The Jeremy Winston Chorale has left an indelible mark on the music community. The choir’s inaugural performance was at the world’s largest choir competition: “Cincinnati International Choir Competition in Ohio. Competing against choirs of international stature from different parts of the world, they were decorated with the gold medal for the best Gospel group, and silver medals in the categories of Mixed Choirs (Classical Music) and Spiritual.

Since winning the international competition, the choir has had high-profile performances, including a performance for Former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House in December 2012 and then a second performance in 2015. They have also been invited to perform with the Czech National Symphony in their Prague Proms concert series during the summer in several years, including June 2025.
