Conexión 2026 Brings Startups, Corporates and Investors Together in Medellín

Conexión 2026 will bring startups, corporate leaders, investors and other business professionals together at Plaza Mayor Medellín on August 18-19, with a focus on turning connections across the city’s entrepreneurial ecosystem into business opportunities, investment and innovation partnerships.

Organized by EAFIT and D’Groupe in alliance with Ruta N, the Alcaldía de Medellín and Plaza Mayor, the summit is designed around strategic matchmaking between entrepreneurs, companies and investors. The Medellín government describes the event as an effort to accelerate concrete business relationships between large corporations, startups and investment funds, while connecting participants from the private sector, academia and government.

The event’s format combines networking with business matchmaking sessions, conferences, masterclasses and interactive experiences. Its stated objective is to create direct connections between startups and established companies, facilitate alliances and activate opportunities for investment and innovation.

A central feature of Conexión is its emphasis on direct business relationships rather than networking alone. Organizers describe the summit as an opportunity for buyers and corporate participants to meet entrepreneurs and identify solutions to specific business challenges, while startups gain access to potential clients, strategic partners and investors.

The 2026 edition will also bring together participants from different industries. Organizers say that placing companies and entrepreneurs from different sectors around the same table is intended to encourage collaboration and identify opportunities that may not emerge within individual industries.
