Dell EMC Names Two Colombian Executives to High-Level Andean Region Roles

Dell EMC has named two Colombian executives, Marco Vásquez and Daniel Núñez, to oversee key aspects of its operations in the region.

Vásquez, a long-time technology industry veteran with experience at Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, IBM and Oracle, joins as director of sales for the Andean region and northern Latin America. The University de los Andes graduate, with an MBA in marketing, will remain based in Bogotá and focus on strategies to boost profitability.

Núñez, who has experience working for IBM and Symantec, has been named as regional director of sales infrastructure solutions for the Andean region. Also based in Bogotá, one of his responsibilities will be pushing customers toward digital transformation.

“They represent the strengthening of the structure of the management team in the region,” said Maryury Romero, general manager of Dell EMC Colombia and Ecuador, about the appointments. “Thanks to their professionalism and expertise, we are confident that the distribution channels, partners and customers will have the best solutions for their technological needs.”
