A second Delta flight from Bogotá to Atlanta will launch on October 29, while a seasonal route from Cartagena to Atlanta starts in December.

The consortium is composed of the companies LTD Sucursal Colombia, Schrader Camargo S.A.S., and Yellow River CO.

The Bayport Management subsidiary says the financing will help improve Colombians' "quality of life in terms of access to better health, education, housing, and micro-enterprises."

The French firm cited "significant delays in granting the environmental permits and licenses by local entities."

The funds will be used to "prioritize the construction of digital highways" and "expand the connectivity service to millions of users," said the companies.
