Japan, recognized for its innovation in technology, will present developments across various sectors, including artificial intelligence, robotics, 5G connectivity, smart cities, and disaster management. These innovations will be featured during ANDICOM 2024, an event organized by CINTEL (Center for Research and Development in Information and Communication Technologies).

In a recent visit to Japan, CINTEL executives, along with Ángela Durán, Colombia’s Minister Plenipotentiary in Japan, met with Yoshida Hitoshi, Japan’s Vice Minister of International Affairs at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Discussions focused on the technological and knowledge exchange facilitated by the congress and how CINTEL promotes ICT adoption and business innovation in Latin America.

Japan’s participation in ANDICOM 2024 is expected to enhance collaboration between Colombian and Japanese entities, as well as with other global participants.
